About Government Arts College for Women, Salem :
Our college is the only Government college for women in the entire Salem District. It is built in a sprawling area of 14.71 acres, at the foothills of Yercaud, a beautiful hill resort of TamilNadu. The college was started as a Government men’s college in 1972. and was converted into a Government Women’s college in 1979.
