Indian Institute of Business Management, Patna has been established with the help of prominent academicians, social workers, philosophers, planners and administrators, management thinkers, educationists as an autonomous, non-profit making all India institute for training, research and studies in the areas of management, computer sciences, mass-communication, hotel & hospitality management. The institute responds to the educational needs of the society through continuous investigation of what those needs are as well as what they are likely to become. In responding to those needs, the institute prepares and develops both teachers and scholars who appreciate the real world of schools, students and communities. Institute started with autonomous PGDM course, followed by MBA affiliated to Magadh University, Bodh Gaya and then PGDM program recognised by AICTE, New Delhi. The institute kept developing and improvising comprehensive academic programs to cater to the growing needs of the professional working environment.
