Our college is one of the biggest rural institutions in Karnataka imparting degree education. The college is recognized U/S 2(f) and 12 (B) of UGC in 1966. The college has an area of 7.75 acres, in addition to this 3 acres 30 gunta purchase during the year 2007, proposed for Ladies hostel and auditorium. Consisting of the college building, Library, Gymkhana, Gym, Chemistry Lab, Physics Lab, Zoology Lab, Play Ground, Canteen and Vehicle Stand. The college play ground has a 200 meters track and separate ground for Basket-ball, Volley-ball, Kabaddi, Tennicoit, and Kho-Kho Ground.
The college has a magnificent Library with more than 50038 books with separate reading accommodation for boys, girls and staff. There is a sub-post office within college campus area. Three NSS units and one NCC company. The boy students of the college have the hostel and boarding facility.
