Ramanathapuram district especially the rural area, is considered a very backward in many respects. It is really so in the matter of higher education. Therefore, the congregation of the Brother of the Sacred Heart ,in keeping with their vision and mission, decided to start a college in a rural area in the District, which would enable them to provide quality higher education to the rural youth at affordable cost.
