in the year 1988, at Chattanchal. It was inaugurated by the then Hon. Chief Minister of Kerala Sri. E.K. Nayanar in the function presided over by Sri. K Chandrasekharan, Honorable Minister for Education. In the beginning only two branches of Diploma Courses were sanctioned – Electronics engineering & Electrical engineering, each with intake of 25.
