Katuri Medical College and Hospital (KMCH), Guntur was inaugurated in 1997 by the then Prime Minister of India, I. K. Gujral, in Guntur, Andhra Pradesh. The hospital was founded by a group of educationalists, with a view to repay back their social debits to the people and land. With an aim to provide proper medical facilities to the masses, Katuri Medical College and Hospital has established a state of the art medical educational and health care complex. Giving proper shelter to the HIV affected people and providing them with a hope of leading peaceful life hereafter are also the principal objectives of the KMCH.
