Deen Dayal Upadhyay Hospital was started in 1970 asa 50 Bedded hospital which was extended upto 500 Beds in 1987. Casualty startedin 1987 for day time only and with effect from April, 1998 it became functionalround the clock. In 2008, trauma block was commissioned which increased the bedstrength to 640; emergency services shifted to this new block with expandedemergency room and wards. This hospital is providing specialized services topeople of West Delhi and imparting training to Post graduate and under graduatemedical students and para-medicals.
