The National Board of Examinations is an autonomous body established by the Ministry of Health & Family welfare, primarily to conduct postgraduate and higher examinations in various disciplines of medical sciences of high and uniform standard at the national level. The National Board of Examinations has accredited the Ernakulam Medical Centre to conduct DNB programs in Orthopaedics. The hospital's faculty is dedicated to teaching and the hospital is continuously improving its facilities to enable these programs to run better. We have a full medical library with multiple lecture rooms and broadband facilities. Successful candidates are awarded the 'Diplomate of National Board', which is recognized as equivalent to postgraduate (MD/MS in broad specialities) and postdoctoral (DM/MCH in higher specialities) degree qualifications of Indian universities and included in the First Schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
