Sri Kanyaka Parameswari Arts & Science College for Women was established in 1720 by Sri Kanyaka Parameswari Devasthanam and Charities which founded the college to promote women's education in Chennai. The aim and objective of the charities is to give quality education, excellent coaching in curricular, extra-curricular and co-curricular activities to girl's, so as to infuse self-confidence and courage in the minds of young girl's who the future makers of the country. The college has been producing good Results with university ranks every year right from its inception. This academic year, an appreciable overall percentage of 89% was achieved by the institution and 37 students’ secured top 10 university ranks in various subjects.
