Sara Nursing College was incepted in 1995, which offers various nursing programs, (i.e) General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM), B.Sc (N) and M.Sc (N) Program. It is situated at the midst of the Twin cities Erode and Coimbatore, the temple city Madurai at the East and hill city Kodaikanal in the South. It is in very close vicinity to the great temple of Lord Muruga at Palani. The history of this college dates back to the 21st century. It begins school of Nursing with 20 students for General Nursing and Midwifery program & B.Sc Nursing program with 50 students. It is recognised by Indian Nursing Council and affiliated to TamilNadu Dr.M.G.R. Medical University Chennai, During 2005,we upgraded the Nursing course to Post Graduation with annual intake of 8 students.In the area of Medical Surgical Nursing ,&Obstetric and Gynaecology Nursing. Later by 2007 sanctioned strength enhanced to 16 with the addition of one more speciality -Psychiatric Nursing.
