S.H Medical Centre, which started in 1969, with 10 beds and one block had by years emerged into a super specialty hospital spread in eight main blocks with strength of 325 beds. The hospital is situated in Kottayam town, very near to Railway station and private bus stand. Presently, the hospital is functioning under the gracious administration of Rev. Mother Innocent Choorakattu S.H. A large number of specialized doctors along with the sisters belonging to the Sacred Heart Congregation are working in this hospital.
