The college running under Bhimavaram Education Society celebrated Silver Jubilee function with pomp and pageantry on 27th and 28th December, 2000. Late Sri G.M.C. Balayogi, the Hon'ble Speaker of Lok Sabha was the Chief Guest. A galaxy of state and central ministers adorned the celebrations. As a commemoration of Silver Jubilee celebrations, P.G. Block, Integrated Library Block and Administrative Block constructed. The Bhimavaram Education Society extends its thanks to Former and Present Parliament Members Sri Yerra Narayana Swamy, Sri Kothapalli Subbarayudu, Sri U.V. Krishnam Raju, Sri Dasari Narayana Rao, Sri Laljan Pasha and Sri V. Hanumantha Rao who contributed MPLAD funds for the development of the colleges and other infrastructure facilities In response to the dynamic changes in the business and social environment with in the state and country. Several new initiations have been taken up by the K.G.R.L. College.
