About Mercy Hospital, Thalayolaparambu :
The School of Nursing is attached to Mercy Hospital, Pothy. It was started in 1996. This School is recognised by the Kerala Nurses Midwives Council and Indian Nursing Council. The integrated programme of General Nursing & Midwifery is a 3 1/2 years course. Medium of instruction is English. We admit 25 students in each batch.
The faculty of the school of nursing believes in providing nursing education based and built on scientific principles and sound educational theory and practice in order to prepare professionally qualified nurses. We promote all round development of the students with special emphasis on human, moral, psychological, cultural, intellectual and spiritual aspects which is required for a professional nurse.
