Ambiga College of Arts and Science was started in 1994 under Sri.S.Solaimalai Thevar-Pappathi Ammal Educational Trust.The trust was formed in 1991 by Sri.S.Solaimalai Thevar,Chariman and Managing Director of Ambiga groups of companies, having business interests in Textiles and Jewellery in Madras and Trichy.The trust is running a Matriculation Higher Secondary School for the past fifteen years,at Anna Nagar,Madurai. The College was established under the self-financing scheme permitted by the Government of Tamilnadu and is affiliated to Madurai Kamaraj University, madurai.The objective of the College is impart to students an Education of the higest order in Arts and Sciences, for their all-round development.
