Chidambaram Pillai College for Women, Trichy was established in 1999 in Mannachanallur, near Trichy. It was founded by Trustees, Thiru. Sidambaram Pillai, Thiru. Periyanna Pillai and Thiru. It is the self financing college which was meant exclusively for girls from rural areas who do not have the means to study in the colleges. The College now offers eight under graduate, ten post-graduate and two post graduate diploma courses of study besides research programs.
