Padmavani College of Education-Padmavani Teacher Training Institute for Women, Salem was established under Padmavani Educational and Charitable Trust. The college has been approved by southern regional committee. It has started their first bachelor of education course in the 2006-2007 with an annual intake of 100 students. The main aim of the trust is to aid women empowerement through quality education.
