The institute is affiliated to Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R Medical University, Chennai. Padmavathi College of Nursing is approved by the Indian Nursing Council (INC), New Delhi and recognized by the Government of Tamil Nadu. It provides General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) course of 3½ years duration, B Sc Nursing course of 4 years duration and M Sc Nursing of 2 years duration. Padmavathi College of Nursing also provides 6 months of internship with GNM, in which students get trained and gain practical experience of healthcare.
