About St. Joseph's College for Women :

The College had its modest beginning as a self financed college in the year 2000. Mother Daria with farsighted vision and a deep concern for the development of Women's education in TamilNadu, ventured to take a step to start a Women's College at Tirupur with the consent of the General Council of the Congregation. She sent a proposal to the Government of TamilNadu and Bharathiar University, Coimbatore. The Bright dawn of 6th September 2000 saw the birth of St. Joseph's College for Women at Tirupur. Having taken the first step the college will stand for the moral values and empowerment of women.
