The Tirupur Education and Research Foundation (TERF) was established in April 2005 in Tirupur to serve its community in education and other social activities. This motive of the trust, lead to the establishment of an Arts and Science college on June 14th 2006 under the name TERF'S ACADEMY - COLLEGE OF ARTS & SCIENCE, at Kovilpalayampudhur near Koduvai (Tirupur to Dharapuram road), to provide a quality education.
